In response to this post, I just would like to say that as of right not there is very little need for documentation for Tagger. The functions should be self-describing, I check the blog daily and will answer any questions promptly and resolve any problems within the software. Also on that note, people do tend to forget that Tagger is capable of batch editing by copying a field’s contents to all other open files. This is done by pressing Ctrl+Click on the field’s label, and has been supported since the earliest builds.

Thanks man,
right at that moment I wanted to ask why this feature doesn’t excist anymore.
Great programm!!!
Ops typed a wrong e-mail addy in…
LOL, I can’t believe those guys at iLounge can’t figure out how to use Tagger. Um, duh, pretty much like the built in tagger in iTunes…
Anyway, you get 6 out of 5 stars for a great program =) Is it possible to integrate the LongDescription app into the main Tagger program itself?
Andrew,
iTunes 7.1 has been released and I think something needs to be added. Apparently you can now add ratings for the following counties: United States, United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and Ireland.
That’s true, good point.
Guess what: I’ve added them already.
I’m just waiting for AtomicParsley to support them before I release the next build.
That’s good news, we really need a new build, it’s been a freaking month.
This build will also be including 7.1’s new sort fields.
Andrew,
Any news on the next build of AtomicParsley?
I dunno if this is the right place to leave feedback, but I’d like to see a simplified version of Tagger. I only ever edit about four different fields, so the tabs just add clutter. Configurable fields made a lot more sense, IMO. Having different tabs for content also means I can’t ctrl+tab between episodes, which slows things down quite a bit. Also, what happened to the ability to lock fields? It seems a lot more intuitive than control clicking a field; I didn’t know about that until you pointed it out.
I’ll consider this, but there almost certainly will not be configurable fields.
Locking fields was actually a waste of time because they needed to be unlocked in order to edit them. I am trying to figure out a better way of achieving the same functionality than Ctrl+Click-ing.
Nope. I will update when there is.
I think that there should be drag and drop capabilities with the artwork. And with that, it would be nice if there was a copy action instead of export. And as pretty as it looks, is the fancy reflection in the background really all that important?
That I can do.
I can probably do this too.
No, but as you said, it is pretty.
The thing is, handling artwork really bulks up Tagger, so I figured if I included it, I would make it look nice. I’ve actually been considering removing support for it entirely, just because iTunes handles it better, especially for multiple files with the same image.
Andrew,
I have a question. Do know of any good taggers for WMVs?
Nope, sorry.
For the record, I think removing support for artwork entirely would be a bad idea because I’d rather just export it from Tagger than dragging the artwork from iTunes and then saving it to JPG (because it comes from iTunes in BMP).
I’m not going to be removing it.
So where is the truly EASY version, where you download an .exe and install it instead of having to go through whatever it is you have to go through to install a .rar file, whatever that is? And I can’t tell if you also need the AtomicParsley program as well. I’m sorry I’m not a programmer. I appreciate iTunes because it’s so very simple. Pity your program isn’t.
If you don’t think it’s simple, then don’t use it. I work on this thing for free in my spare time; I have no obligation to make it useful for anyone except myself.
